Installing TWRP Custom Recovery on Samsung Galaxy V Plus SM-G318HZ without PC
Want to install a custom recovery, namely the infamous TWRP for your Samsung Galaxy V Plus SM-G318HZ but don't hold a PC right now? No worries, we can easily install it by Android app's help such as the TWRP app.
KituTech — It doesn't make sense? Right, normally an app that can flash a custom recovery needs a root access, and root can only be obtained by installing/flashing it from a custom recovery which need to be flashed through Android's fastboot that need to be done from other device such as PC.
However, on our previous post I have shared about Rooting Android (KitKat 4.4, Samsung Galaxy V Plus) without PC with KingoRoot. So, flashing the custom recovery can be done by various Android apps such as the official TWRP app.
Requirements, tools, and materials:
- Make sure to downgrade our Samsung Galaxy V SM-G318HZ firmware to the older one before it have "Asks security version…" on the Settings → About phone.
- Rooted. Also read: Rooting Android (KitKat 4.4, Samsung Galaxy V Plus) without PC with KingoRoot.
